The Spill Checker is a hand held, battery powered precision unit for accurately measuring  depth to water and thickness of free phase products in tanks or wells. The Spill Checker can be used in a number of applications including measuring oil as thin as1/200 ft (1mm) and water levels in monitoring wells, detecting tank and plumbing leakage and obtaining accurate measurements of ground water levels. It will also detect and measure sinking layers of product (DNAPL).

The Clean Earth Spill Checker features two sizes of sensor probes. A standard 5/8" diameter probe for most applications and a NEW 7/16" diameter probe which will fit down the newly popular 1/2" diameter direct push wells.

The measuring tape is offered with a rugged Hydrocarbon resistant Kynar jacket. Tapes are  highly accurate and certified to federal specification US-GGG-T-106E and European EEC CLASS II
